Ethics
Ethics is a branch of philosophy that pertains to the principles that govern a person's or group's behaviour in terms of right and wrong action. In the Ethics unit, students will gain an understanding of the main questions in ethics, and of the positions of major philosophers and schools of philosophy with respect to some of these questions. They will evaluate these positions to the main questions, making connections between ethics and other areas of philosophy, other subject areas, and various aspects of society, including everyday life.
